We have some exciting stuff in the pipeline that you will love.
There are lots of ideas, and things that we want to develop but we will be focusing on making sure the app stays simple and easy to use throughout all of this.
Some developments that you will see over the next few months will be:
- Physical mailing (snail mail for $1.97 per invoice)
- API (a way to connect your own applications)
- Customizable invoice templates (control look and feel)
- Localization and language packs
The mailing feature is the first on our list, and this will be ready within a few weeks. The service will be available to US customers only for the first few months.
If you want to see anything else, let us know in the comments :-)

Hi Stu,
First of all, congrats with another great application (make your invoices bubble)! Amazing how much energy you have for creating all this neat stuff; keep up the good work mate!
I think Project Bubble with Invoice Bubble is a killer combination!
You ask if we'd like to see anything else. Well, as a freelancer here in The Netherlands we have to track:
- Incoming invoices, let's say expenses
- Outgoing invoices, let's say turnover
- Spent hours, including overhead
- Mileage
So would be neat if the tracking of these would be part of Project Bubble and/or Invoice Bubble. For tracking time, a (Mac) widget would be cool...

Simply Awesome.
Can't wait to see all the new features roll in.
Great work : )

Already super impressed with this site. Gorgeous invoices, and a beautiful website.
Features that would be cool to see:
– More font options
– The ability to duplicate an invoice that has already been created and then make changes
– Flat Rate Option
Thanks again!

Hey Dirk,
- Yes the font options will come in the Invoice Templates feature (you will be able to customize the CSS and the HTML).
- The duplicate invoice is something I'm working on at the moment and will be around within the next few days.
Marc, the API will hopefully offer you the facilities that you need - we are working on the API at the moment and hopefully it will be available within a couple of months or so (maybe sooner!). Thanks all.

Is PayPal available for a payment option on invoices? If not, that would be great.
By Stu Green on 10th Apr 2010
Hi Kitty, Paypal is currently available as an option for invoices. We're looking in to Google Checkout too.

Yeah, great work - love this and projectbubble. I would love to be able to track expenses. Once that is in place - I'm switching from Freshbooks.

PLEASE let me send "estimates" too. The language of "estimate" is so important, because when I send new clients an "invoice" right away they panic as if I'm the damn cable company or something. Ironically, I don't like the way Freshbooks does it - a user should be able to PAY THROUGH THE ESTIMATE, rather than some pointless "convert estimate to invoice" b.s. process that requires manual intervention. Thank you.

I am hovering over the upgrade button.. but I really need the editable templates and expense tracking (even if only very basic) before I take the plunge ;)

Love your invoice app. Fit's perfectly for me and the price is certainly right. Would be cool if for reoccurring invoices you could specify number of months. Some of my clients buy blocks of 3 or 6 months at a time.
By John Lipps on 24th Sep 2010
I'm with Darrel. I could really use the ability to buy blocks.
Also - I'm seeing that invoicebubble and others are filling that huge gap between using excel and the feature bloated quickbooks.
In the modern world; running lightweight is what makes you the successful "small guy".
Thanks for all the awesome work that you have put in to invoicebubble . Looking forward to start paying for it soon!

Hi Stu,
It would be good if you could disable the Paypal option in the Settings, as personally thats something I would never use and prob a lot of people are in the same boat.
The templates are ace but it would be good to change the layout slightly.
Whens the Android app coming out...? So I can invoice on the go...??? Or at least a Smartphone suitable website.
Cheers and keep up the top work.
